3.2.6 Work Supervision

Adequate management and supervision of work activities is essential for

ensuring safety. In particular, the responsibility of the supervising person is key
to controlling the scope of the work, avoid danger, and ensure communication
with members of the work team. The supervising person must be an
Appointed Person (CP, AP or SAP) and be in receipt of a Safety Document.

The Safety Document holder must remain on site during the course of the
work.

27
3. Questions

a) Control Procedures and Operations records
b) Recording outage duration
c) Work Planning and Work Supervision

2) For emergency work:

a) Planning the work stages is not possible
b) The planning stage is still relevant
c) Be careful not to make mistakes

3) The purpose of Safety Documents is to define unambiguously:*

a) the boundary of areas where there is potential danger
b) The equipment which has been made safe to work on
c) The expected duration of the work
