Descrio do Projecto:
O projeto consiste na realizao de uma residncia artstica na cidade de Castelo Branco promovida
atravs de uma parceria entre a Associao JAZZaqui, Cultura Vibra e a Italiana Mill e uma nota.
A Residncia ser dirigida pelo musico Italiano Andrea Marcelli e o concerto da resultante ser
apresentado na cidade de Castelo Branco e numa outra cidade (a confirmar). No prximo ano este
projeto ir viajar at Itlia para um conjunto de concertos (data e local a confirmar).
Os Msicos Italianos presentes na residncia sero Andrea Marcelli na Bateria e Filippo Consentino
na Guitarra *(Notas Biogrficas em Baixo). Para completar a residncia a JAZZaqui vem desta forma
abrir Candidaturas a duas vagas a instrumentistas de Contrabaixo, Piano ou Vibrafone.

ANDREA MARCELLI
Andrea recorded many CDS and two acclaimed solo CDs for legendary Major Jazz Label
VERVE/PolyGram with his original compositions also for ESC medien, BHM, Lipstick Records,
Soul Note and others. More than 200 of his compositions have been recorded in CDs. Two of
Andrea's compositions are included in"The European Real Book" and "The Digital Real Book
part two" by www.shermusic.com .
He performed and/or recorded with Wayne Shorter, Don Menza, David Liebman, Bob
Mintzer, Harold Land, Markus Stockhausen, Eddie Gomez, Ekkehard Wlk, Mike Stern,
Mitchel Forman, Allan Holdsworth,Alan Pasqua, John Patitucci, Eberhard Weber, Alphonso
Johnson, Jeff Berlin, Eberhard Weber, Palle Danielsson, Arild Anderson, Frank Gambale,

FILIPPO COSENTINO
Guitarist/composer from Alba, graduated cum Laude at the Conservatorio G.B. Martini in
Bologna in Jazz Guitar. Guitarist appreciated for its versatility, it has often been invited to
important festivals and collaborated with musicians from the European jazz scene like:
Antonio Zambrini, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Bosso, Javier Girotto, Tom Kirkpatrick, Jesper
Bodilsen, Andrea Marcelli and many others. He wrote a modern guitar method to improve
and learn how we can play the blues. Finalist at the 13th edition of the International Prize
Massimo Urbani. Winner of the 2003 National Competition "Buona musica a tutti!" about
the magazine Chitarre. In 2011 was published "Lanes", Filippo Cosentino's first soloist cd
with guest trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso. In 2013 his second CD, Human Being with special
guest: Michael Rosen. Lastronauta 2015 is his last CD was recorded with Antonio Zambrini
(piano), Jesper Bodilsen (bass), Andrea Marcelli (drums)
