Ethics and Religious Culture Secondary Cycle 1.2

Program overview:

In this course, ethical and religious issues pertinent to Quebec society will be examined through
student-driven inquiry. In particular, the course will take a thematic approach exploring topics
through various paradigms including, but not limited to; birth, marriage, and death. Students will
finish the course, completing the end of cycle outcomes, through a culminating project of their
choice (i.e. oral presentation, video, civic project, etc.)

Student competencies:

1. Reflects on ethical questions


2. Demonstrates an understanding of the phenomenon of religion
3. Engages in dialogue

- In class work, whether individually or in groups
