Commenced Martial Arts in 1981 in. To 2016. (Approx. 35 years)
Started training in Ken Sai Kan Karate Do, then Shotokan Karate where I reached
3rd Kyu Brown belt in 1990.
In 1999 I trained with Washin Kan Karate do and obtained my Black Belt in 2002.
I also trained in various other styles over the years, Budo Ryu Kempo, Hapkido,
Kempo Karate International, Go Kan Ryu, Tactical Krav Maga, American Kenpo.

I have been a NSW Sheriffs Officer for 20 years and regularly undergo Tactical
Training in
Monadnock Baton Handling & Retention.
Handcuffing Techniques.
Self Defence, Hand to Hand Combat Techniques.
Prisoner escorts, wrist & arm locks takedowns. Cell extractions.
Oleoresin Capsicum Spray deployment and decontamination.

I had a few years break from Karate due to back surgery but returned to Washin
Kan Karate as an instructor in December 2013.
I opened Caddens Dojo 12th March 2015. Closed October 2015. (7 months)

I then opened Werrington County Dojo as Senior Instructor. October 2015.
Took Over Hassall Grove Dojo Senior Instructor. February 2016.
24th October 2015 was Graded 3rd Dan Black Belt. Okinawan Karate and Kobudo
Association.
In September 2016 I Joined NG RYU Karate and I retained the Werrington County
Dojo. I was recertified 3rd Dan Black Belt By NG Ryu Karate in November 2016.

In April 2017 I left NG Ryu Karate and created my own style, Senshindo Karate
and Kobudo. my style is Japanese Karate based on the Shotokan Style. Once on
Senior Brown and Black Belts we teach Shorin Ryu Okinawan Karate. We also
combine modern day self defence techniques using Aikido, Judo, Ju-Jitsu. We have a
weapons / Kobudo component also, based on Japanese weapons and Okinawan
weapons and kata. We do not get involved in tournaments, we are not a sport
karate we are basing our style on the old ways of budo. We do not spar like
tournament sparring. We use flow drills and realistic common acts of violence
situations and teach how to fight and react in a real life on the street way. Look us
