9. LLC: Control de enlace lógico. Especifica la forma en que los datos son
transferidos sobre el medio físico, proporcionando servicio a las capas
superiores.
10. ETHERNET: Es un estándar de redes de computadoras de área local con
acceso al medio por CSMA/CD.
12. WI-FI: Organización comercial que adopta, prueba y certifica que los
equipos cumplen los estándares 802.11 relacionados a redes inalámbricas
de área local.
25. CABLEADO: Sistema que permite que las transmisiones de datos y voz de
los servicios de un edificio sean emitidos por un medio eléctrico. Es el
conjunto de cables de un aparato o instalación.
30. PROVEEDOR: Es una entidad que presta servicios a otras entidades, por
lo general servicios Web.
31. SEÑAL ANALOGA: Tipo de señal representada por una corriente continua

36. ENERGY: Correct combination of speed and volume. The active power
requires a strong flow and a large volume.
41. HOST: Refers to any device connected to the network, which provide or use
this service.
44. SINGLEMODE: Optical fiber in which only one mode of light propagates.
45. SHIELD: Coating technique with a mesh or foil each pair or group of pairs of
wires of a cable to avoid interference, shielded cable is also called.
47. NIC: Network card that enables communication between devices connected
to each other and share resources between two or more computers.
56. CONNECTION: Link established between the sender and receiver through
which the message is sent or data.
