1.0 PURPOSE
To ensure that the Installation of 11KV MV Switchgear Panel and related activities are executed safely and in accordance
with the contract requirements and that all quality assurance/control activities required for the same are conducted in a
systematic manner, works are inspected and conformance is verified and documented.
2.0 SCOPE
This Method Statement describes the procedures involved in 11KV HV Switchgear Panel proper storage and handling and
physical installation in order to confirm proper operation.

1. He is responsible for planning of site organization, resource mobilization, subcontracting, site operation,
construction methods and scheduling.
2. Ensure all the key staffs are on site during execution.
3. Ensure that proper approved documents are in place prior to start of installation activities.
4. Ensure that all materials are approved, ordered and available on site.
5. Ensure that all proper tools and tackles are available on site for the timely completion of the job in a quality manner.
6. All Discipline Engineers will be coordinating with the Construction Manager in respect of Installation and Inspection
activities.
7. He shall coordinate all site safety issues to HSE Personnel for corrective action.
8. Ensure safe system of work is followed along with the HSE Personnel.
9. Main point of contact on site for safety issues.

4. Advising site engineer on all technical aspects regarding work methods, sequence of installation, testing
and commissioning.
5. Follow up site activities and ensure all relevant non-conformance issues (if any) are resolved and clear
out. Communicate with QA/QC Engineer and HSE Engineer for preventive and corrective actions.
6. Coordinate the progress of main contractor works to ensure installations of MEP works are synchronized and as
per schedule.
7. Coordination with other Contractors/Company to provide solutions affecting design
developments/coordination matters.
8. Responsible for all related activities prior to completion of the project.

7. The Site Engineer/Site Supervisor will give necessary instructions to tradesmen and provide necessary approved
construction/shop drawings of latest revision.
8. The Site Supervisor/Foremen will also check that proper tools and equipment are available to carry out the work
and are in compliance with contract specification. List of tools is included as part of this method statement.
9. The Site Supervisor and safety officer will explain to the tradesmen regarding safety precautions to be observed.
