NIVEL B1 +

USE OF ENGLISH
1. PRESENT TIMES

Explanations.

-- Present simple: formation rules.

Present simple is formed with the base form of the verb. We add -s in the third person singular (he/she/it). Verbs ending
in -o, -s, -sh, -ch or -x add -es. Some verbs are irregulars: have, be.

I like, you go, he wishes, she likes, it misses, we have, you sing, they love.

Do and does questions:

Do / Does + Subject + verb (without -s): Does she like? Do you want to go?

Don't and doesn't:

It's the negative form of the present simple: I don't like, you don't go, he doesn't wish, she doesn't like...

Wh- questions:

WH- + DO/DOES + SUBJECT + VERB: What do you want?

Wh-: which, who, what, where, when, how.
