Clear and Black Primer Five-Gallon Pressure Pot

Description WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to

See Figure 1 and refer to Table 1. In a typical system,
the five-gallon pressure pot contains solvent for flushing
black primer from an applicator tool and a flowmeter.

APPLICATOR Operation
3-WAY BALL VALVE POSITIONS (TOP VIEW)

1. See Figure 1. Open the flow control valve (8).

air pressure.

1 3. Turn the 3-way ball valve (2) to desired position

1. See Figure 1. Make sure that the ball valve (2) is in

the off position.
2. Close the flow control valve (8).
3. Adjust the air regulator (6) to 0 psi/bar. Pull on the
ring of the pressure relief valve (5) to relive pressure
from the pressure pot.
4. Unlock and remove the cover (7). Inspect the O-ring
on the cover for damage and replace if necessary.
5. Fill the pressure pot to the desired level. Install and
lock the cover (7).
6. Adjust the air regulator (6) to the desired pressure.

7. Open the flow control valve (8).

Apply pipe-thread sealant to the
