Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

We are having our Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert on Thursday, October 19, at
6:30p.m. in the Forest Heights STEM Academy Cafeteria. I am very excited for this
concert as this is our first concert of the school year. The students have been working
very hard, and we are all excited to show you what we have learned! It will be a
wonderful evening.

In preparation for the event, Id like to remind everyone to have their outfits ready and
keep in mind the performance schedule for the day.

Students need to be at the FHSA cafeteria on Thursday, October 19 at 5:30 pm. It is

important that they are there on time, so we can take care of attendance and warm-up
before the concert. Students who are late will have points deducted from their
performance grade (which is worth 20% of their overall grade).

Students need to arrive in the following clothes in order to be ready for the concert:
Shirts: A navy blue or white school uniform polo shirt (either with or without the
FHSA logo)
Pants: School uniform Khaki pants or skirts (no khaki shorts)
Hair: Needs to be off of the face
Jewelry: Only post earrings are allowedno other jewelry is allowed.
Shoes: As dark a color as possible.
Thank you for helping our students present themselves in a professional manner.

I am very excited that we will be able to share with you all of our hard work. If you have
any questions, please dont hesitate to contact me.

Please sign the attached permission slip and return by Friday, October 13, 2017. I am
looking forward to seeing you all there!
