Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,

I am writing this letter for approval of my senior portfolio. With the approval of my portfolio, it
will allow me to graduate from Buckingham Charter Magnet High School and let me pursue my
path towards becoming an aerospace engineer.

Throughout my high school career I have worked hard to achieve outstanding grades and become
a leader in multiple extracurricular activities. The STEM related classes have greatly improved
my understanding in the career field I am pursuing. Buckingham has prepared me for UC and
CSU colleges by allowing me to take these required classes. Buckingham helped me realize my
passion for engineering through activities like STEM related classes and robotics club where I
became the president of robotics. I also was elected to become ASB President for 2017-18 after
realizing another passion for leadership.

After graduating, I want to attend four year university in California, in order to do this I will need
to have reasonable SAT scores and show my 4.0 grade point average. Once I am accepted into a
college, I will work hard to maintain my amazing academic grades. This will not be hard
because I will have a strong passion for my major and working hard will be exciting because it
will involve what I love.

After hearing about my accomplishments and future, I anticipate your enthusiastic approval of
my senior portfolio. I look forward to my high school graduation and beginning the next phase
of my life. I will continue to strive for high achievements and proceed towards my extensive
goals.
