SYMPTOMS

On : 12.2.3 version, Setup- Treasury System Setup

Issue 1: FRM-40602: Cannot insert into or update data in a view

Authorize Currency : Setup > Profiles > Currency Details

After setting up spot rates for USD, we still cannot authorize USD currency. Every time
we try to move USD currency from unauthorized currency column into authorized currency
column, we get the error message below.

Issue 2: ORA-01779 CANNOT MODIFY A COLUMN WHICH MAPS TO A NON KEY-PRESERVED TABLE

CAUSE

Bug: 18281762 - R12.2 IN ORACLE TREASURY CURRENCY AUTHORIZATION FAILED WITH FRM-40602 ERROR

Bug: 19032107 - R12.2 CURRENCY AUTHORIZATION END IN AN ERROR MASSAGE ORA-01779

Issue 1: FRM-40602: Cannot insert into or update data in a view

Please apply:
Patch: 18732457:R12.XTR.C 1OFF:18281762:R12.2 IN ORACLE TREASURY CURRENCY AUTHORIZATION FAILED WITH FRM-40

2. Insure that you Recompile the views:

XTR_AUTH_CCY_COMBINATIONS_V
XTR_MASTER_CURRENCIES_V

Insure to: re-compile all libraries and invalid objects. After that the form works properly.

Issue 2: ORA-01779 CANNOT MODIFY A COLUMN WHICH MAPS TO A NON KEY-PRESERVED TABLE

Please insure that you have applied following as per your DATABASE version:

Please insure to apply Database Patch: 18419770 KEY-PRESERVED TABLE IN JOIN VIEW NOT RECOGNIZED WHEN JOINED
TABLES HAVE UNQ INDX

Please also insure:

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2: Consolidated List of Patches and Technology Bug Fixes (Doc ID 1594274.1) including
Patch: 18419770
You can check if all the required one off patches applied by running ETCC script shipped as part of patch 17537119 and apply
patches which are listed as missing?.
