Conclusions

Based on the findings the final conclusions were drawn from;

1. Profile of the Respondents

The research has 150 respondents that are made up of 51% males and

49% females. Most of the Dasmarias Water District employees consist mainly

of males throughout the entire organization, and it is shown that the males are

the dominant gender in Dasmarias Water District.

a. Majority of the respondents covered by the study are mostly rank and file

employees. Majority of the respondents covered by the study are mostly male

employees. Majority of the respondents are within the age range of 21 to 30

years old followed, by 31 to 40 years old, followed by 41 to 50 years old,

followed by 51 years old and above then 20 years old and below. Majority of

the respondents from Dasmarias Water District are married, followed by

single, and the widow/widower. Majority of the respondents are College

Graduate, followed by College level, followed by High school graduate, followed

by Post graduates or graduates taking up masters degree. Majority of the

respondents have rendered between 1-3 years of service to the Dasmarias

Water District, followed by those who have rendered 4-7 years of service,

followed by those who have rendered 11 years of service and above, and by

those who have been in the company for 8-10 years of service.

2. Relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior between Job

Performance in terms of commitment, Attitude, and quality of work

a. It shows that the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and

Job Performance of Dasmarias Water District employees in terms of

commitment and quality of work are Excellent and it means that the employees

relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Job performance

in terms of commitment and job performance have a significant effect. It and

also shows that the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior

and Job Performance of Dasmarias Water District employees in terms of the

attitude towards the organization have a verbal interpretation of Excellent,

which shows that the employees agree that the relationship of between their

Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Job performance in terms of the

attitude towards the organization is significant.

3. Significant relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and

Job Performance when they are grouped according to their demographic

profile

a. Dasmarias Water District employees demographic profile does not have any

significance or any relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior

and Job Performance. Null hypothesis is accepted since there is no significant

relationship between Dasmarias Water District Employees Organizational

Citizenship Behavior and Job Performance when grouped according to their

demographic profile.

Recommendations

In light of the conclusions mentioned, the following recommendations are

offered:

1. The top management should maintain healthy relationship with their

employees which is essential in the workplace setting so they can find

their work interesting and lead them to perform their best.

2. The top management should appreciate the employees contextual

performance and to give them rewards and incentives for the continuous

improvement of their employees and the organization.

3. The top management should have a better understanding and focus on

the importance of the relationship of Organizational Citizenship Behavior

and Job Performance to their employees because employees are the

most important people that leads the organization to success.
