What learning outcomes were attained (fully/comparatively) this week?
In the beginning working with people I just first met is something different. On the first week of my on job
training I learned a lot I learned how o interact and communicate with people, and also I learned how to do
data base

Since I do not know the people in the office and I do not have any actual experience that thing make me quite
at first but as days past by Im trying to observe on how to get along with the employee
What is your most important learning/insight for the week?
The most important thing I learned in the first week of my on job training is that I learned how to face the real
world and talk to different people

briefly.
Yes, being in the industry is really different from school setting, where in I experience how to be independent
on the task they assign to me and of course I learned how to do the data base.

What learning outcomes were attained (fully/comparatively) this week?
This time I learned time management, need to manage my time to finish all my task. To finish encoding their
attendance on their seminars and training that they attended

Even though I had many things to do specially encoding their attendance on their seminars and trainings. I
unwearyingly read their penmanship in order to understand and encode correctly their attendance.
What is your most important learning/insight for the week?
As days goes on, friendship and understanding with each other is built. Even though I work with different
people with different kinds of attitude and behaviors I manage how to be polite and nice to everyone.

There is, I just learned the data base in industrial setting where in I never yet experience in school setting.

What learning outcomes were attained (fully/comparatively) this week?
In order to finish my entire task, I learned to be patient enough even though if I did everything to finish encode
all the attendance still time allotted is not enough. I learned how to value my time correctly and also I learned to
entertain client and communicate then in a nice way

To finish all my task hard work is very important I make sure that I will not waste time for unnecessary things so
that I will easily finish my work.
What is your most important learning/insight for the week?
I gain knowledge, what the most important I learned is that somehow I improve my communication skills to
other people.

Yes, in industrial setting I learned a lot except data base, I learned how to communicate to other people
specially when Im in the front desk I assist the external and also the internal visitors. It help me improve my
communication skills.

The most important thing I learned this week is that managing my own time wisely and effectively, evens the

I learned how to deal with different personality and different people every day. It also helps me to become
more efficient in dealing with people around me, in particular when the time that I distributed the survey to the

What I learned in this week is that proper communication is important in order to accomplish the assign task.

What I learned in this week is that attitude is important with dealing to new people like in the seminar we
attended for two days we need to speak properly to them.

All the working days, I learned that attitude is important first thing to do is that greet every person and say
good morning to them when they enter to the conference room where in entertain them and assist in checking
their attendance.

The most important Ive learned is having a background on how to conduct seminars. Where in I can apply in
my future work place.

Yes, there is different between industrial and school setting. In industrial stting I learned how to conduct

What I learned in this week is dealing with other people that first time I met is not easy we must be
approachable to them particularly when I am in the information desk.

Though I talk a lot of professionals in the information desk every person talk to me and ask for assistance I
greet them and be approachable and assist them what they are going to do.
What is your most important learning/insight for the week?
Being approachable and be respectful dealing with other people. As long as I talk to the employees what I
learned is I need to be respectful enough and be professional also regarding on their favor. I must help them
to do and help them to finish their own task help them photo copy some documents.

In this last week of our on job training what I learned is we must really need patience in order to finish

Even though I was so excited to finish my on job training we need to finish the entire task that they assign like

What is your most important learning/insight for the week?
I feel proud to have put the work in and attained the certificate. I know this will improve my chances of
employability and bring me a step closer to where I want to be. I wouldnt have been able to learn without the
people Ive worked with, Ive enjoyed being a part of in the department. Everyone has been helpful and Im

Far from being a student, my daily routine has been change into something unusual for me. I learned
how to be more patience, I wake up early in the morning prepare myself for the long day ahead and
give out the best upon my working hours, the most important I learned is how to face the real world and
talk to different people. I feel proud to have put the work in and attained the certificate. I know this will
improve my chances of employability and bring me a step closer to where I want to be. I wouldnt have
been able to learn without the people Ive worked with, Ive enjoyed being a part of the department.
Everyone has been helpful and Im grateful for knowing them. Most importantly, I learned that
teamwork also important . This internship has been an invaluable building block in my career path.

B. The things I have learned in University of Saint Louis which is totally difficult in actual
setting:

What I learned in USL is really different but not totally difficult in the actual setting, where in I
experience how to be independent on the task they assign to me. In school although we learn how
to be independent like in our daily activities but really being in the actual setting more challenging

C. The most memorable experience during my on-the-job training:

The most memorable experience during my on-the-job training is when trusted me to receive some
important documents because they told me that they rarely trust ojtees to receive but they give
their trust to me and Im so honoured with that. and also one of my most memorable experience is
when we eat together in the personnel section with the boss and staff of the personnel, they
treated me as their 2nd family and there are no dull moments in that section because they always
make some things funny and easy.

D. Recommendation
My recommendation for the next ojtees at DOH RO2 is to just enjoy every single day that you are
in the office, all staffs are friendly and approaching. Dont be shy. Shine! Because you will surely
miss the office once you leave. And also be humble always, dont be afraid to ask things that you
dont know because they will guide you in your works. Smile always because in DOH RO2 they are
very friendly specially in the personnel section, you will not have dull moments with them. And dont
forget to always keep your feet on the ground because it pays to be humble.
DOH RO2 is not actually our first choice to have our OJT. We plan to submit application letter in the CPPO
but when we have our seminars our dean did not agree to have ojt there because that is not in the industry
setting. But God really works in amazing ways. May 02, 2017 we submitted our application letter to the
Office of DOH, we thought that we can start by Thursday may 04,2017 but the regional director is still on
leave, we are really losing hope because we are almost late on starting our OJT. We started looking for
another agency and as we went to Phil Health they said that they are still accepting. Then we ask our
adviser if what will be her decision. Then May 08, 2017 we went back to DOH and Yes! The regional
director signs already our application letter. Although DOH office is far we can say that it is worth it. All
staffs are approachable and nice. They have own offices for the different divisions that is why it is
organized. As an OJT we feel proud to be a part of DOH they made us feel that we are belongs to their
growing family especially in the Personnel and Training Section. They warmly welcomed us when our first
day begins. If we have difficulties in works they always guide us. And when there is a celebration they
always tell us to eat with them. They treat us as their family and there's no regret that we became a part of
DOH. They help us mold our future; they let us grow mentally physically and spiritually.
