Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and his
family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing
through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with
me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and how much I
love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed in my body and my soul.

God commanded all believers, including kids, the job of preaching the
Gospel.
Matthew 28:19, Go and make disciples of people everywhere, teach
them to obey all I have commanded you.
As born again believers, we have all been given the greatest gift ever given. God
gave His Son who took the punishment for our sin. When we accept this free
gift we also receive the promise that we will live with God forever. The
promise begins the moment we believe. Even after our body dies we will keep
living with God in Heaven. God doesnt want us to keep this a secret. He
wants us to share the good news of salvation with everyone. In fact, it is so
important to Father God that it was the last thing His Son, Jesus, told His
disciples to do as He left them.
Just before Jesus ascended into the sky, leaving earth to go live with His
heavenly Father, He told His disciples to go and share the good news that He
had died for the sins of everyone in the world. This huge job of telling people
about Jesus being crucified, buried, and raised from the grave is called the
Great Commission. The Great Commission can be better understood by
breaking the big word commission into two easy to understand parts.
Mission is another word for a special job or assignment. Co is a prefix
meaning together.
So, Jesus was saying that He will work with us to help get this big job done.
Some will do their part by going to other cities or countries or even to other
continents; while others will tell the people in their family, or the kids who ride
their bus, or go to their school or day camp. Wherever you go, that is the place
that you can share the good news about the love of Jesus. When you love
people like Jesus loves people you will obey His commandment and go into all
the world and preach the Gospel. This is the Great Commission.
