My company, Caterpillar Inc. provides construction and mining equipment and by

having a website, they are more nationally and globally accessible. With a website like this
one, it is easy to understand and more appealing to people across the world. By
understanding how to set up a web site they can constantly improve it and make it better for
the customer. Also they can add new features making their website more interesting and
informative. With the many different types of equipment, Caterpillar can display them all on
their website along with the price and enable the customer to reserve a piece of equipment.
With easy access such as this many people will flock to this because of its convenience.
Through using information systems, Caterpillar Inc. will be able to get an advantage on its
competitors.
Section 3: Marketing Analysis

b. This is an international company and using Global as an adword, it helps
people all around the world know that they will be able to access these
product. Also, if someone was looking to construct things overseas, they
would feel more comfortable using a company that they are used to so
Global helps notify them that they can use Caterpillar at home and in
another part of the world.
c. What shows up when I type in Global into Google is the definition, images
of the globe and two companies websites: www.globaltotaloffice.com/
www.globalindustrial.com/.

a. Durable
b. The mining and construction equipment provided by our corporation is
extremely Durable so it is only fitting that that is one of the adwords. These
machines are made to be out in virtually any condition and can handle tough
environments or even a little bump from another machine.
c. The definition of durable shows up first then various websites with the
definition and some websites with durable products. The top two websites
are: dictionary.reference.com/browse/durable www.durable-uk.com/.

a. Groundbreaking
b. This pertains to our company because they have products that have helped
revolutionize the construction equipment industry and it is a cleaver pun
because some of the equipment is literally breaking the ground. Many
people are looking for the next best thing and Caterpillar can provide that for
our customers.
c. First few websites to show up are definitions of the word groundbreaking
and also a video by the band named Groundbreaking. The first websites
