Course Objectives:

Objective of this course is to equip the students with the knowledge and techniques of analyzing
electrical networks.

Course Learning Outcome:


CLO1: Students will be able to get knowledge of basic passive circuit elements used in engineering which
include Resistor, Inductor and Capacitor
CLO2: Students will be able to analyze R, L, C circuits in various forms which include polyphase
circuits, ac power circuits, magnetically coupled circuits etc.
CLO3: Students will be able to demonstrate the effect of power transfer, power dissipation and power
factor on power transmission.
CLO4: Students will be able to analyze R, L, C with the application for sinusoidal forcing function.
Students will be able to use modern tool Multisim for analyzing electrical circuit.
CLO5: Student will be able to solve time domain, phasor and frequency domain response of second
order circuits
