Dear Dr. Friedman,

I recently have learned about the opening of a dental assisting position in your office, through
my former dental teacher at the Muncie Area Career Center. Currently I am working as a server
at the Chocolate Moose in Farmland Indiana. Im interested in finding a new job possibly as a
dental assistant at your dental office, Parker City Family Dental.

I have a thorough background in dental assisting from the classes that I have taken over the
past two years of my high school career. These classes have prepared me with the skills of 4
handed dental assisting, the ability to take dental impressions, pour up dental molds, tear down
and set up dental stations, as well as being able to mix dental chemicals and read and mount x-
rays. At my current job I can connect and have a conversation with my customers which would
be a contributing factor to dental assisting.

With my solid educational background in dental assisting and my passion for going out of my
way and helping others, I feel as if I would be a contributing factor to your dental office. I am
