K-12 STUDENTS CCAP (AB 288) ARTICULATION 2+2

1. Create an OpenCCC online account and
complete the Merced College online ap-
plication.

3. Student meets with their K-12 designee
and with a Merced College counselor for
signatures on the K-12 Permit form.
(High School Transition Counselors cannot approve for both sections)
4. Student submits the K-12 Permit form
and the Schedule Request form to the
Admissions and Records office to
register for classes.
3. The K-12 Permit form and the Schedule
Request form must be completed at the
high school. The high school designee No Assessment Needed
and a Merced College counselor must No K-12 Permit Needed
sign the K-12 Permit form.
(High School Transition Counselors cannot approve for both sections)
4. The completed K-12 Permit forms and
the Schedule Request forms must be
sent by a school official to the college.

* Students cannot take courses below English 1A or Math C.

* Students do not have to complete the Orientation and Student Planning.
* Students interested to taking a course with an English or Math prerequisite will need to take the assessment.

K-12 STUDENTS
Students must complete a new
application for each semester in
which a course will be taken.
Tuition is free when taking 11 units or
less per semester.
Students are required to pay the $17
health fee.
Students are responsible for the cost
of books and materials.
Courses are offered at several
locations; Merced College, Los Banos
campus and other local area high
schools.

CCAP (AB 288)

Students are able to take courses at
another high school, if the other school
is in the same district.
CCAP classes are only offered to high
school students at high school
campuses, during the regular school
day.
ARTICULATION 2+2
Students must complete a new
application for each semester in which
a course will be taken.
There is no fee for the articulation test.

counselor to ensure the course is
available for 2+2. Call the counseling
