Lesson Guide for Demo Teaching in Educational Technology II

I. Topic: Different Organ Systems of the Body


II. Objectives:
a. Given a Virtual Reality Presentation of the different organ systems using a
smartphone and Virtual Reality box, the students should be able to name
the different systems with no errors.
b. Given with instructions, the students should operate the technologies
(smartphone and VR box) in less than 2 minutes.
c. Based on the generalization made by the teacher, the students should
determine the different functions of the organ systems of the body with 80%
average score in the assessment.
III. Procedure
A. Motivation:
The teacher will motivate the students with the following questions:
1. Do you love your body?
2. So if you love your body, how do you take care of it?
3. Our body is composed of what? (organ systems)
4. Do you know the different organ systems in your body?
5. Is it important to take care of our organ systems? Why?

B. Virtual Reality Presentation 7 min


After the motivation, the teacher will introduce the lesson with the help of a
smartphone, earphones and VR box. The teacher will distribute the materials
provided (1 student:1 smartphone:1 VR Box: 1 earphones). After distributing
the materials, the teacher will give instructions on how the students will use the
technologies provided.
1. Find the application 3D Human Body (Male).
2. Click the said application.
3. Below the screen, you will see the different organ system. Swipe left until
you found the word Animation.
4. Click the word Animation and click the cardboard mask icon on the
bottom right of the screen to turn on the VR View.
5. Insert the smartphone to the VR Box.
6. Adjust the lens of the VR Box at your comfortable sight.
7. The VR presentation will automatically start. With the use of the
earphones, you will listen on what the video is going to discuss.
8. Listen carefully and enjoy the trip around our body.
C. Generalization
After the Virtual reality presentation, the teacher will now synthesize the
importance of the different organ system and their functions.
IV. Assessment

The teacher will give an assessment through a 15 item multiple-choice test.
