Tell us a bit about how The Make Arcade
came about?
I worked as a designer for a variety of
companies from luggage to ladies millinery
after finishing my fashion degree but while
on maternity leave with my youngest child, I
decided to try and do something that would
fit better with family life. The Great British
Sewing Bee had just become a huge hit so I
decided I would try and pass on my creative
knowledge and started teaching workshops.
