1.3 COORDINATION
1.3.1 The Contractor shall include for co-ordination with other Divisions and contracts as
necessary to undertake the works described.
1.3.2 The contractor shall include for particular and detailed coordination with all other
contractors in accordance with the programme of works relating to building, external
finishes and concealment of power circuits and fixture mountings.
2.0 PRODUCTS
2.1 GENERAL
2.1.1 The details of the luminaries are to be included in the relevant Schedule of Luminaries
and Lamps and each unit, unless otherwise stated shall be complete with all necessary
control gear.
2.1.2 All luminaries shall be suitable for high ambient operating conditions of 50 deg C, 100%
RH and the local prevailing conductors as indicated in specification section 16010.
2.1.3 An efficient earth connection shall be made between the metalwork of the luminaries and
the wire armouring of the cables or the earthing cables.
3.0 EXECUTION
3.1 INSTALLATION
3.1.1 All equipment shall be installed in accordance with manufacturers requirements.
3.1.2 Include for all aiming of luminaries to the satisfaction of the Engineer, masking and
demonstration of operating scenes.
3.2 SEQUENCING
3.2.1 Include for commissioning of the complete lighting system. This shall include for all
necessary night-time / out of hours visits by trained engineers until the system is to the
satisfaction of the Engineer.
3.2.2 Allow for demonstration and training of the Clients operating staff.
Certain manufacturers lighting units are specified to be supplied an installed with the intention
that the shape, finish, and illumination of these units shall match each other and match the
overall aesthetic concept. No deviation from these specified requirements will be allowed unless
otherwise specifically approved by the Engineer. If so approved, the Contractor shall submit
alternative luminaries having equivalent architectural and technical feature. The Contractor shall
provide all the information as directed by the Engineer to prove the equivalency of the proposed
alternative luminaries.
Provide standard bi- pin fluorescent tube lamp, white 4000k unless otherwise indicated.
Provide PL, PL-C, 2D or other compact fluorescent lamp white 3500K unless otherwise
indicated.
