The cement was prepared with an accompanying water of 26% by

weight of the cement. The same method of mixing during the
consistency of cement was used in the process. (Fig. 2)

The cement paste was used to fill the conical ring with an aid of a
spatula to flatten the top of the paste without compressing the
cement mixture. (Fig. 3)

(Fig. 4, 5) the Vicat Apparatus was set up to zero. When the apparatus was
set to its proper position, the cement was tested on its penetration to check
the consistency at a given water content. (Fig. 6)

The needle was let to penetrate after 30 min. of settling of cement.

The penetration was recorded until the desired one is achieved. (Fig. 8)

Repetitive tries of penetration was conducted during the experiment to obtain

values of 25 above and below. Another wait to an certain time frame was done
until the penetration on the cement became zero. (Fig. 8, 9)
