ERP-system
Extend ERP works integrated with the companies ERP system. All master
data are created and maintained in the ERP system and Extend ERP is
working on-line against this data. The Extend ERP clients are sending data
requests and data replies to the ERP system through the Extend ERP
server including the two modules; integration server and application
server.
The Extend ERP clients are .net based applications designed to reflect and
handle logic executed by the application server as well as handling input
data from scanners etc. The Extend ERP system includes two different
client versions depending on what type of hardware you want to use for
the mobile solution; one client for handheld devices running windows
mobile and one PC based client for ordinary windows operative systems as
XP and Vista. For more information about supported operative systems, se
chapter 5.

acknowledges in the handling of API. This is a safe and reliable
communication giving the solution a high level of data validation.

Technical demands:

The setup of client for PC equipment includes a database and a table for
settings. This database and table are preferable installed centrally for
easier maintenance and don’t have to be installed locally on a specific PC
equipment. If however the installations of the database is made locally
then disk space and available memory is needed to support this.
The safety of the WLAN needs to be handled from the customer demand
and needs. A number of different solutions are available to secure the
communication.
