Attendance Confusion will be addressed ASAP; attendance should be
taken by class, not just by Homeroom now?
Steps to Entering Weight for Grades and Posting
o Grade Book
o Choose a subject using the drop box
o All grades should be under Marking Period ALWAYS
o Settings Categories in Grade Book Setup Add (bottom) Name
each category Make sure you check all classes EXCEPT your
Homeroom Enter Percent in Weight SAVE EVERYTHING (or lose
everything)
o Adding an Assignment (Fill in EVERYTHING)
o Q1 Progress Report Window: October 3rd October 11th at 5:00 PM

Superior Lunch in both classes for October (Dress Up Day and Party!)
o Ms. Jones and Ms. Koger are already being so helpful! Thanks!

Progress Reports & PARCC Data Whilby


NACA exceeds the district with exception of Grade 4 Math and Reading
Level of rigor needs to increase
PD will be offered text-dependent questions, close reading, and
differentiated instruction

Operators Updates Gray not presented

Attendance should be submitted daily
Emergency Sub Plans should have been submitted; 5 days worth with
ready-copies (Due Date: September 12th)
Copiers are available including the office copier
Lesson plan should be in the classroom and written daily
Morning Arrival All staff should be in the Cafeteria by 7:45 AM, no
exceptions
Dismissal Staff should be visible, in place, do not release students until
3:00 PM
D.E.A.R. lack of implementation; every class and student are
independent reading or journal, sets the tone for dismissal, allowed to play
background music, books should be complex, yet practical for students
Assembly by Grades Ideas are developed, showing best self,
presentations should be at least 10 minutes, scholars should be prepared
and mannered, ideas are great, just need to be executed properly
Thursday, October 5th, ILT will be conducting a Learning Walk.
o Rubric is based on the Instructional Framework (the 9 Ts)

o Behavior from Grade 1 RB, needs to be restricted and restrained
Assaults towards Walker, Phillander, and Whilby
o A Representative from the district came to create a plan for the 6
first grade students
