RESUMEN

Cuando amaneca el perodo Devnico hace unos 416 millones de aos el planeta
estaba cambiando su apariencia. El gran supe continente de Gondwana se diriga
gradualmente hacia el norte, alejndose del Polo Sur, y empez a formarse un segundo
supercontinente que se extenda por el Ecuador. Conocido como Euro amrica, o
Laurasia, se cre por el encuentro de zonas de Amrica del Norte, norte de Europa,
Rusia y Groenlandia. Donde el gelogo escocs Roderick Murchison y su
colega ingls Adam Sedgwick, identificaron este sistema en la dcada de 1830.

Unos sedimentos de color rojo, generados cuando Amrica del Norte colision con
Europa, dan nombre al Devnico, ya que estas rocas tan caractersticas se estudiaron
por primera vez en Devon (Inglaterra).

El Devnico, parte de la era Paleozoica, tambin se conoce como la Edad de los peces,
ya que produjo una considerable variedad de peces. Los ms formidables eran los
placodermos con proteccin sea, una especie que apareci por primera vez durante el
Silrico con poderosas mandbulas alineadas con placas en forma de cuchilla que
actuaban como dientes. Los primeros placodermos se alimentaban de moluscos y otros
invertebrados, pero las ltimas especies se convirtieron en monstruos feroces
rebanapeces que medan hasta 10 metros de longitud. Otros tipos de peces con placas
seas que carecan de mandbulas desarrollaron una amplia gama de formas extraas.
Los especmenes fsiles incluyen especies con cabezas en forma de herradura y otras
que parecan escudos redondeados.

OBJETIVO.

Argumentar la importancia del desarrollo mediante el anlisis descriptivo de los

elementos fsicos y biolgicos que forman la superficie terrestre, enfatizando en los
fenmenos y procesos que dan origen a recursos minerales, hdricos y energticos,
mostrando a travs de sus propuestas una actitud de respeto y conservacin del medio
ambiente y manejo del desarrollo sostenible.

METODOLOGIA.
El presente trabajo se realiz por todos los compaeros sacando informacin de los
libros e internet basados en la geologa histrica principalmente el periodo devnico.
juntando as cada informacin sacado de cada uno de nosotros y traer lo ms resumido
para exponer.
 ABSTRACT
When the Devonian period dawned about 416 million years ago the planet was changing
its appearance. The great continent of Gondwana gradually moved northward, away
from the South Pole, and a second supercontinent began to form that extended across
the Equator. Known as Euro america, or Laurasia, it was created by meeting areas of
North America, Northern Europe, Russia and Greenland. Where the Scottish geologist
Roderick Murchison and his English colleague Adam Sedgwick identified this system in
the 1830s.

Red sediments, generated when North America collided with Europe, give the name to
the Devonian, as these characteristic rocks were first studied in Devon, England.

The Devonian, part of the Paleozoic era, is also known as the Age of Fish, as it produced
a considerable variety of fish. The most formidable were placoderms with bony
protection, a species that first appeared during the Silurian with powerful jaws lined with
blade-shaped plates that acted as teeth. The first placoderms fed on mollusks and other

OBJECTIVE.
To argue the importance of the development through the descriptive analysis of the
physical and biological elements that form the terrestrial surface, emphasizing in the
phenomena and processes that give origin to mineral, water and energy resources,
showing through their proposals an attitude of respect and conservation the environment
and management of sustainable development.
