Faculty Analysis of Grade Distribution
(As the course expert, write a paragraph critically reflecting on the grade distribution considering the following questions:
Is the grade distribution appropriate? What percentage of students were successful/unsuccessful? Are there trends that you would like to explore?
Were there unusual circumstances that you would like to provide rationale? )

Annual Practicum Course Report
The time in lab was suitable for learning new skills, but it often became
boring because I feel like we could have been taught it quicker or more
efficiently.
Thank you for a great semester. I have learned a lot, and I will value the
skills that have developed and grown. I encourage a bit of revamping or
tweaking in some of the powerpoints that are taught in class.
Spring Being able to pass meds in the ED was SO wonderful and helpful. I would
love to have had more ED opportunities.
I thought this class didnt need to be as long as it was. Time was dragged
out but was a very good learning experience. Enjoyed the ED rotations the
most

Faculty Analysis of Student Course Evaluations
- There is room in the course to rearrange content a little to fill in the open lab time that students suggested as boring.
- Several PowerPoints have been modified and will be updated again as needed.
Ultimately its about the patient, but I did not feel welcome, I felt
that I was in the way and a bother to a good portion of the staff I
interacted with and I was uncomfortable and a spaz because of
it. I really looked forward to my experience here because of the
great things I heard about the unit. We did have amazing
experiences and got to practice our skills, but I felt off.
SMH - ED 0% 58% This ED experience was so helpful with practicing skills. We
were constantly pulled to see different procedures and test out
skills from our instructor. I liked how we were paired up with a
nurse throughout the day as well. We got to experience a lot
between shadowing an RN and Mrs. Shultz finding interesting
patients for us to observe.
Course Action Plan (Does not require Curriculum - Consider alternative methods of instruction during lab hours, to
Approval) include student-led learning (self-taught workstations)
- Addition of the student observer role in 2 simulations
- Shorten the final simulation day (End of Life) by 30 minutes and
redistribute the time to another experience in order to decrease
the stress of the content and experience on the students and
instructors.
Recommendations (Requires Curriculum None at this time
