flight predictions (waypoint performance
calculations including fuel remaining, distance,
and ETE calculations) can occur.
Action
Honeywell identified a work around procedure
(available on FMS Pilot Handbook Rev. 1):
Pilot enters an altitude constraint (even if
already set by the system) on the destination or
on the selected approach.
This can be done before take-off, in flight before
the issue shows up or after the issue shows up
trying to recover the situation.

Objective of the program
The AW139 Reliability Data Sharing Group (RDSG) program is open to all
Customers/Operators and it is based on a monthly exchange of data, plus
periodic meetings, in conjunction with CAB and Maintenance Improvement
Team (MIT) meetings, to include and to aggregate Customers reliability
feedback into the set of inputs used to drive reliability & maintainability
improvements within the AW Product Improvement initiatives.
Main objectives:
1. Determine the best available data for a common components reliability figures
database;
2. Share the reliability data among the AW139 Customers/Operators community:
Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR) for and enhanced
accuracy in spares planning;
3. Monitor reliability of main recent improvement introduced on the AW139 in
service fleet.
