INTRODUCCIN

English is currently considered the most important language worldwide, either for those
who speak it as a first language or those who speak it as a second language; That is as
a secondary language after the mother tongue. Although native English speakers (those
who speak it as the official language of the country in which they were born) are not as
many as those of other languages such as Spanish or Chinese; English earns absolutely
every battle when speaking of people who speak or dominate English as a second
language.

a. How many environments are there in the virtual course? Mention their names.
In the virtual course, theres six environments: Starting information, Knowledge,
Collaborative learning, Practice Learning, monitoring and evaluation, and the last one is
the student`s management.

b. What kind of information can you find in the news forum?


Theres two informative forums: The course news and the general course forum. In the
first one (course news) I can find important information about the campus Access, the
INVIL ON AIR space, and the welcome message from the Director and tutor: Jorge Hugo
Hernandez. In the second one (General course forum), I can find the socia interaction
forum, the technical support and the doubts and questions forum.

c. Where can you find the syllabus and how can it help you?
I can find it in the Knowledge environment, and it helps to see the structure of the course,
I can find all the contents and strategies for an overview more comprehensive of the
course.

d. How many units are there in the course? Mention 2 topics wich belong to each one
of them.
Theres two units: in the first we can find the modal verbs and the use of ING forms, and
in the second unit we can find the present perfect tense and the future tense.

e. Explain with your own worlds the aim of the link agenda.
The aim of the link agenda, is provide an order of the begin and the finish of the activities
of the course, wich help us to planning the best way to do all the activities.

What kind of information can you find in the News Forum?


In this forum you will find important news related to the course -activities, dates, special
events, etc-. Also, you can find different instructions and tutorials in order to develop some
tasks or procedures inside the virtual room.

Where can you find the Syllabus and how can it help you?
The Syllabus can find it in the Knowledge environment and it helps me to know how the
course, content, learning activities and evaluation are structured, allowing a complete
view of the course.

How many units are there in the course? Mention 2 topics which belong to each one of
them
The curse has two units. Some topics are:
Unit 1: Modal verbs and past progressive
Unit 2: present perfect tense and future tense

Explain with your own words the aim of the link Agenda.
The agenda allows me to identify the delivery times of the different evaluative works, in
addition to identify if they are individual or collaborative, in this way to carry out in an
appropriate way all the activities, to obtain good results.

1 Starting information: In the space where the student is on the academic course, there
is information about what is allowed to know the generalities of the course, the
programming of the activities to be developed during the academic period, the
commitments that are acquired as a student to achieve the Purposes of the course. This
is why for the achievement of this management, the environment has the resources that
describe a continuation and how it is illustrated in the following image.

2 Knowledge: In the knowledge environment will be able to find contents, virtual objects
of information (OI) and learning (OVA), files in PDF formats, repositories, virtual library,
videos, audios, three-dimensional animations, published researches, e-books. All these
resources are incorporated with intent. It contains the syllabus of the course, the units
and the glossary, it is necessary for the learning process since there is the study
material like books and videos which are of support for the accomplishment of the
activities.

3 Collaborative learning: The collaborative learning environment has been set up as the
scenario to foster an environment that motivates the collective construction of knowledge.
That is to say, it is the adequate space for the student to stop being passive, to become
active and without fear of failure, because in the first place, he confronts his peers to
reaffirm his learning, before subjecting them to other level checks

4 Practice learning: You will find the guide for educational resources, Skype and
Screencast O'matic helps us find the resources to put into practice the knowledge
acquired and information of the different means by which we will perform the different
works.

5 Monitoring and evaluation: Evaluation in virtual environments is an ongoing process


that values formative and summative student performance when applying superior
intellectual skills and competencies
6 Students Management: In all training processes, there are several external to the
development of the activities of a course, however, they are actions that the student
must carry out through consultations and information management, which are part of
the administrative process for training.

The course agenda is a resource that establishes the set of commitments, policies and
