Job Responsibilities

Assist in the development of safe job procedures for various departments such as Alloy blending, Grid casting, Pasting,
Formation, Assembly.
Guiding management on Accident prevention methodologies.
Assist the Health and Safety Officer with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
Assist the Health and Safety Officer with the management of fire safety throughout the buildings.
Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments, compliance and training of staff, with particular
reference to machine risk assessments, manual handling, working at height, and display screen equipment.
Assist and perform Health and Safety audits and produce audit reports and follow up any actions.
Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety.

 Monitor the prevailing working conditions and ensures safe working practices in the company.
Investigation of all Accidents, incident / Near misses / Spills / Fires to find the root Causes and recommends corrective
actions.
Ensuring the standards of Emergency services like Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Box.
Maintains and implements the site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) plan, firefighting plan, emergency evacuation
plan.
Maintaining General information report, Hazard condition & other requirements like equipment needs for first aid, ppes,
etc.

AREAS OF
EXPERTISE
Development of health and safety management system based on international regulations and framework such as 18001
OHSAS.
Development of cross functional team of hazard indentification and risk assessment.
Carrying out suitable and sufficient Risk assessment specific to the battery manaufacturing departments.
Development and implementation of safe systems of work/sop's.
Carrying out systematic inspection of worksite
Assist is the development of health and safety aims and objectives
Carrying out fire evacuation drills in the worksite
Preparation of HSE plans and procedures by assessing particular risk inherent in the worksite.
Development of health and safety committee and worker participation program
Active and reactive monitoring of the worksite.
Giving training on various health and safety issues to the employees
Auditing health and safety management system based on international standard OHSAS 18001
Carrying out proper investigation of work related accidents/incidents happened in the worksite
Preparation of safety checklists such as for acid plants.
Delievering routine toolbox talk sessions to employees in order to improve thier awareness regarding health and safety
issues.
