Among the Hindus of Bali, Indonesia, Brahmins are called Pedandas.

The Kshatriyas are a large block of Hindu castes, mainly located in the northern half of India. The Sanskrit term Kshatr means
"warrior, ruler.

Vaishya, also spelled Vaisya , third highest in ritual status of the four varnas, or social classes, of Hindu India, traditionally
described as commoners. Legend states that the varnas (or colours) sprang from Prajapati.

Shudra is the fourth varna, or one of the four social categories found in the texts of Hinduism. Various sources translate it into
English as a caste, or alternatively as a social class. They are ranked as the lowest of the four varnas.
