Language Conventions

Year 5 2017

Curriculum Links:
Re-read and edit students own and others work using agreed criteria for text structures
and language features. (ACELY1705)

Develop a handwriting style that is becoming legible, fluent and automatic. (ACELY1706)

Lessons Structure:
Students are given a story starter or a picture and they are to write for 15 minutes
uninterrupted. Once they have finished they edit their own work for spelling and grammar,
using the VCOP Punctuation Pyramid.
