Today we are going to look at coins and the different value of those coins
Who knows an Australian coin?
Name it and describe it using colour and size

1. Introduce all of the Australian coins one by one under the hand Hand camera

Now what we are going to do is lucky dip a coin out of the bag Laminated coins
It is not a real coin because I dont have that much money so it
will really just be a picture of a coin
I want you to keep your coin to yourself and not show anyone
Then when I say I am going to play you some music and you are
going to walk around the room music
When the music stops you need to stand together with the person

that is next to you and show them your coin and then you need to
discuss which one is smaller
Once you have the answer than stand with your hands on your
head
Then you need to swap coins with your partner and start again
