SYNOPSIS This course introduces students to the fundamentals of web design


and its
applications. Trends and principles of web design will be discussed
in class.
The course also include website design concepts and production
techniques.
Students will familiarize themselves with various tools and
techniques in
creating creative website projects for informational, experimental or
commercial purposes. In this studio course, students will learn these
skills by
working on a series of exercises and projects aided by research,
readings,
ideal development, class discussions, group critiques, etc.

(Kursus ini memperkenalkan asas-asas reka bentuk dan applikasi


laman sesawang. Trend dan prinsip-prinsip reka bentuk laman
sesawang akan dibincangkan di dalam kursus ini. Kursus ini juga
merangkumi konsep reka bentuk dan teknik produsi laman sesawang.
Pelajar akan membiasakan diri mereka dengan pelbagai perisian
dan teknik dalam menghasilkan projek-projek laman web yang
kreatif untuk tujuan penyampaian maklumat, eksperimental atau
komersial. Dalam kursus berbentuk studio ini, pelajar akan
mempelajari aspek prinsip dalam seni reka identiti melalui pelbagai
siri latihan, projek yang berbantukan penyelidikan, pembacaan,
perkembangan idea, diskusi, kritik berkumpulan dan sebagainya.)
