Safety and Health Policy
1. General Policy Statement

The statement that are listed are the general policy statement for VCNG
Construction Sdn. Bhd:

Provide a safe environment to work effectively and contributes to our

success.
Provide a proper training and procedures to train worker.
Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.
Provide proper necessary personal protective equipment and personal fall
arrest system to employees.
Ensure that all materials and substances are safely stored, handled and
transported.
Assess the risk to anyone who might be affected by carrying out work
activities.
2. Responsibilities
Managers, supervisor, and all other employees share responsibility for a safe
and healthful workplace.
Management has overall and full responsibility for health and safety such
as providing and maintaining a safe system of work and facilities for
welfare of all workers. Management also will keep informed about
workplace safety and health hazards and regularly review the companys
safety and health program.
Supervisor has day to day responsibility for ensuring that employees
follow this policy for health and safety. Supervisor also are responsible for
supervising and training workers in safe work place.
Employees have a responsibility to take care of the health and safety of
themselves and those around them, to follow safe system of work and
report any concerns to the supervisor and upper management.
3. Application of this policy
We seek the co-operation of all workers, customers and other persons. We
encourage suggestions for realising our health and safety objectives to
create a safe working environment with a zero accident rate.

This policy applies to all business operations and functions, including

those situations where workers are required to work off-site.

3.0 Explanation of the OSH policy

1. Provide a safe environment to work effectively and contributes to our success.

To make sure that working environment are safe and comfortable for the
worker so that they will be more focus and are able to produce a good
quality output to contribute to companys success.
2. Provide a proper training and procedure to train the worker.
A training and exposure to proper skills and knowledge are needed to
produce competent and skilful workers while alert and have knowledge
about the importance of safety.
3. Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.
A proper maintenance will ensure a safe use of plant and equipment.
4. Provide proper necessary personal protective equipment and personal fall arrest to
employees.
By wearing a right safety wear, a risk or accident that might happen are
able to be reduced.
When working in high rise building, in order to prevent an accident such
as fall from high place occur a complete safety wear is needed.
5. Ensure that all materials and substance are safely stored, handled and transported.
When a materials and substance are properly arranged, handled and
transported, then the probability of accident such as trip over an object to
occur will reduced.
6. Assess the risk to anyone who might be affected by carrying out work activities.
Risk are needed to be access in order to know the hazard so that a control
measure can be taken to eliminate or reduce the hazard that may occur in
the right way.
