Fifteen people were asked a few questions about their jobs by our team.

Questions
like if they were employees or freelancers, if they were required to speak English
or not at their job, how much they get paid and similar stuff. We compared our
answers and got the percentages of the questions we were tasked. In results, we got
that 46.6% was female and 53.3 were male. The age ranges from 18-25 were
33.3%, from 46-55 were 40% and from 26-35 were 13%. At the moment we ask if
they were employees or freelancers, 73% were employees and 27% were
freelancers. Nowadays most of the jobs are required to speak English but, at our
interview to this people incredibly the 80% were not required to speak English
while 20% were. The salary range of people asked were that 6.6% made 3-10
thousand, 6.6% made 11-20 thousand, 13.3% made 21-35 thousand, 20% 36-49
thousand and 46.6% made more than 50 thousand. I personally think that a higher
salary should not depend if you speak or not English, even though some jobs do.
Nowadays is that English is being practice constantly, for people to get better jobs
if you live in the DR or to move out to study or live or any other thing. In our
interview 40% did not speak English also 40% speak fluent English and 26.6%
speak some English. The ones that could speak English 46.6% of them learned in
an institute, 20% in school and 13.3% other. Their life stages when they learned
English was 26% in primary school, also 26% in high school and 20% in college/
university. 60% of the people asked were parents and 40% werent. 100% of the
parents said their children know how to speak English. Learning English nowadays
is really important for getting a good job just because of you English skills.
