• White smoke while servicing the car

• No repairing of Injectors

• Pumps are narrow due to direct connection with cam shaft e.g 2.2L Safari,
1.4L Dicor, 2.2L Sumo

• Hunting problem in INDIGO

• In high pressure pump, Black smoke problem comes.

• Sedimentor filter is costly i.e Rs 4500 and should be 1500.

• Effective service is less and costly for CR.

• Diesel leakage problem after 35000 km

• In SAFARI Injectors starts knocking at 40000 km generally then it get fails.

• Pick up problem i.e to adjust the pick up mileage combination, there


is large gap occurs than the usual ones ( 5 cases were there by
2008-march 2010)

• Knocking sound from Pump and Injector fitting in rotary.

• Injector starts giving noise after 30,000-40,000kms Rotary

• When Injector’s get blocked and because of it pump get seized up.

• Rotary:

• After 30-35,000 km cam actuator starts producing some kind of


disturbing noise

• In more heat condition starting problem is there.(Rotary)

• Mounting plate on the pump has a problem with lower nuts due to which
ejection of the pump from car’s engine become difficult-Tata Indigo.

• Sudden fluctuation in rpm of the engine during normal running of


the vehicle
• Distant piece valve get stuck due to dust in diesel

• Nozzle holder is not effective

• Injector get stuck due to dust, due to it sound of it get changed and
gives starting problem

• Problem generally comes with 4th injector, due to some kind of


problem in ECU and it comes during starting of the engine.

• Leakage in the pump is commonly observed in pump housing

• Ordered fuel quantity is not coming up.

• Air locking problem during filter changing and due to this there is
improper supply of air and fuel.

• Problem in potentiometer and due to this performance of ac suffers


and CHECK engine light blows out in the cluster.

TRACTOR

• Governor plates screws get slips down and seal should be strong or try to
make it of double type to prevent mixing of diesel and oil.

BOSCH:
• No information or pamphlets given on spray patterns on Injectors, Pressure
range

• After dust enters into Injector it get stuck and not easy to take it from
system.

• O-ring should be strong to prevent water which generally goes in Nozzle.

• Dealers are not getting the parts directly they have to pay for it.

• Complaints usually come in high pressure pump after 60000kms and vehicle
does not get start.

• Usually in 1st and 2nd gear knocking sound comes but after sometime it get
reduce but pick up get lowers.

• Seal of the housing of pump get damage after 60000km so it needs to be


strong enough.

• Don’t have separate part number for sensor and regulator, so if they get
breaks down it needs replace the whole system which turns to be very costly.

• VERNA: In opening up of pump, need to adjust the entire timing chain plate

• Leakage through washers occurs and Jerking problem is there.

• Black smoke after 60-70000kms

• Injector noise starts after 60000kms

• RPM problems comes i.e it fluctuates after 30-40000km and producing Vizling
noise

• Jerking problem has come up and vehicle gets off in Rotary pump of PALIO.

• There should be no noise response from accelerator pedal

• Starting problem usually come in morning time and in hot condition

TRACTOR:

• More leakage problem is there than Sarpanch.

• More pollution

• O-ring problem

• Not be able to use for long run i.e it demand service after 3000 hours
• Low pick up

• After 2-3 service governor plate get loose and due to which leakage through
it become common.

• Service camp usually took place once or twice a year so there should be 1
camp in every 3 months.
