Chapter 3 Writing Plan/Goals

I, Stephen Franklin, agree to the following writing plan/goals. I propose to have Chapter 3
completed and submitted for IRB approval on or before November 18, 2016.
To accomplish this, I propose to follow the writing plan goals and objectives listed below.

Weekly Writing Goals:

Week 1: Review Literature review to reacquaint myself, as I have not read or looked at
Chapter 2 in approximately one month

Week 2: Re-read Lunenburg & Irby text, Writing a Successful Thesis or Dissertation
(focus on chapters 6-8)

Week 3: Create first draft of Chapter 3

Week 4: Submit to committee for review and feedback

Week 5: Complete revisions based on feedback to date. Complete 2nd draft of chapter 3
Submit to committee, reconfirm meeting date.
Week 6: Meet with committee to review chapter 3 to date, possible proposal defense?

Week 7: Submit 3rd draft of chapter 2 with target for acceptance/approval. Proposal defense.

Week 8: Schedule IRB submission

Week 9: T.B.D.
Overall Writing Goals: Continue reading Lunenburg & Irby text and any remaining articles
Accomplished Goals: 1) Meeting scheduled with full committee on October 29, 2016 to review
chapter 3. 2) Second draft of chapter 3 submitted for committee review. 3) First draft of chapter
1 in development
