Riboza,
monosaharid, je kljuna komponenta ribonukleinske kiseline (RNK), molekule prisutne
u svim ivim elijama i vodi metabolike procese.
RNK.

Prolaskom kroz tlo voda se prirodno obogauje ugljikovim dioksidom (CO2) i otapa
stijene kroz koje prolazi. Stoga, voda koju pijemo moe postati vaan izvor

Quercetin supplements appear to have some beneficial effects as part of supportive

medical therapy for peptic ulcers. Apparently, many peptic ulcers can be caused by
an
infectious bacteria, known as Heliobacter pylori. Quercetin has been shown to
inhibit
the growth of this bacteria in in-vitro studies. Because of its anti-inflammatory
action,
quercetin is sometimes used as part of ulcer treatment therapy.

Researchers have identified

several potential uses for quercetin bioflavonoid,
which include the treatment of atherosclerosis, cataracts, diabetes, hay fever,
allergies, high cholesterol, peptic ulcers, and asthma.

Lactate decreases and even inhibits the breakdown of fat for energy purposes
(lipolysis) as well as it can also interfere and decrease the rate of glucose
utilization by cells (glucolysis). Also, believe it or not, lactate is crucial for
the brain as lactate is the main fuel that neurons use
and it is essential for long-term memory and could even be involved Alzheimers
disease.
Some studies show that when lactate uptake by neurons is suppressed, long-term
memory
is inhibited. Lactate could also be involved in some chronic metabolic diseases
like type 2
diabetes as blood lactate levels in this population are 2-3 times higher than in
healthy physically active population and it
could be a major player in this disease. Cancer cells have a disrupted metabolism
utilizing too much glucose aerobically (Warburg effect) and producing large amounts
of lactate which could contribute to tumor growth and progression. Therefore,
lactate is not just a waste product of anaerobic exercise but a major fuel and a
key regulator of metabolism and its role in the possible
epicenter of different chronic diseases is starting to be investigated.

At rest, the tissues which normally produce excess

lactate are:
skin - 25% of production
red cells - 20%
brain - 20%
muscle - 25%
gut - 10%
During heavy exercise, the skeletal muscles contribute most of the much increased
circulating lactate. Lactate is metabolised predominantly in the liver (60%) and
kidney (30%) 6 . Half is converted to glucose (gluconeogenesis) and
half is further metabolised to CO2 and water in the citric acid cycle.

Naunici su otkrili da mlena
kiselina igra kljunu ulogu u stvaranju energije tokom vebanja.
proizvodnju glikogena i glukoze u jetri. Mlenu kiselinu jednom reju moemo
definisati kao prirodan nain pomoi u
"preivljavanju" stresnih situacija za organizam. Ali pored pozitivnih strana,
mlena kiselina
zaista ima i svoju mranu stranu. U trenutku kada vae telo proizvodi mlenu
kiselinu, ona
se rava na jone laktata i vodonikove jone. Vodonikov jon u stvari predstavlja
glavnog

Ability of gamma tocopherol is to combat conditions as diverse as asthma, cancer,

metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular
conditions, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons disease.

Men with the highest gamma

tocopherol blood levels had a five-fold reduction in prostate cancer risk. This
same
study showed that selenium and alpha tocopherol also reduced prostate cancer risk,
but only when gamma tocopherol levels were high.

They showed that muscle cells

made insulin resistant had greater glucose uptake and improvements in insulin
signaling
when they were exposed to gamma- tocopherol.
The results show gamma-tocopherol is involved in more efficient disposal of
glucose,
which is important for athletes to speed glycogen synthesis as well as non-athletes
to help better manage blood sugar and insulin
levels.

Quercetin binds to excess iron in your body, removes it from

tissues, and prevents its absorption. This process is called chelation. This is
critical as
iron can be a key ingredient in cancer cell growth. Quercetin has the ability to
steal the iron from cancer cells which can stop their
growth and induce cell death. Even if you dont have cancer, if you eat meat, its
a good
practice to eat green vegetables with it to limit the amount of iron your body
absorbs. Yes you need iron, but too much iron is bad
for you. FYI: Red meat is the highest source of iron.

The entry of fructose into cells is not insulin- dependent, unlike glucose into
certain tissues,
including muscle and fat cells. The function of insulin is to increase the
synthesis of fats and to inhibit their breakdown, resulting in weight gain. In
contrast to glucose, fructose does not promote the secretion of insulin.
Additionally, the rate of fructose metabolism is
more rapid than that of glucose, because fructose metabolites bypass the major
rate-
limiting step of glyolysis. The result is that fructose can be converted to energy
at a more
rapid rate than glucose. Fat Metabolism As with any calorie, too much fructose is
converted by the liver and stored as fat. In the presence of excessive Acetyl-CoA,
liver metabolism gears in the direction of fat synthesis. Fat is stored as
triacylglycerol and
serves as the body's major stored form of energy. The other major form is liver
glycogen, a long molecule of stored sugar. After a
feeding, the body stores enough glycogen for 12 hours of fasting. By comparison,
the body
has enough stored fat for three weeks or more.

Fructose metabolism results in the formation of energy

in the form of ATP, with pyruvate and Acetyl-CoA as intermediaries. Acetyl-CoA
enters the Krebs cycle, also called the TCA cycle, or citric acid cycle.

Fructose or fruit sugar is detrimental in an attempt to

maximize fat loss. Since muscles have the specific purpose of contraction, they
have a
limited number of enzymes for glycogen synthesis. Muscle only has the necessary
enzymes to convert glucose (and nothing else) into glycogen. The liver, however, is
able to make glycogen from fructose, lactate, glycerol, alanine, and other three-
carbon metabolites. Muscle glycogen, which is similar in structure to starch, is an
amylopectin (branched
chained polymer containing hundreds of glucose units). Unlike muscles, which can
only
supply energy to themselves through the stored 250-400 grams of glycogen, the liver
is
responsible for supplying energy to the entire body. Too much fructose is converted
by the liver and stored as fat.

Body prefers to break down fats

or carbohydrates for fuel and save protein for other processes, like building
muscle.

Several studies have shown that under normal low MET conditions (at rest or low-to
mid- levels of activity such as walking and easy work ) the body only needs about 5
grams of glucose an hour.
And thats for people who arent yet fat- adapted or keto-adapted. The brain is the
major consumer of glucose, needing maybe 120 grams a day in people who arent yet
on a low carb eating program. Low carb eating reduces the brains glucose
requirements considerably, and those who are very low carb (VLC) and keto-adapted
may only require about 30 grams of glucose per day to fuel the brain (and little-
to-none to fuel the muscles at
<75% max efforts).

Glucose is the form of energy you were designed to run on. Every cell in your body,
every bacterium -- and in fact, every living thing on Earth -- uses glucose for
energy.

Subjects supplementing with betaine increased muscle mass by 4 pounds and arm size
by 10 percent, while they decreased body fat by 7 percent. On the other side, the
placebo group experienced no increase in muscle mass or arm size and no
body fat loss.

More than 20% of the entire sodium content of your body is accumulated in your
bones, which get damaged during the lack of the mineral in the bloodstream as well
as the body fluid.

Like many other bioflavonoids, Quercetin has anti-oxidant, anti-artherogenic, and

anti-
carcinogenic properties. Quercetin is also neuroactive, with some of the same
abilities
as Caffeine but less potent.

Men who are deficient in vitamin B12 can also suffer from poor motility (where the
sperm
don't swim very well) so it is thought that taking this vitamin may be helpful as
well.
Cells in tissues need a steady supply of oxygen to work well. Normally, hemoglobin
in
red blood cells takes up oxygen in the lungs and carries it to all the tissues of
the body.
Red blood cells that contain normal hemoglobin are disc shaped (like a doughnut
without a hole). This shape allows the cells to be flexible so that they can move
through
large and small blood vessels to deliver oxygen. Sickle hemoglobin is not like
normal
hemoglobin. It can form stiff rods within the red cell, changing it into a
crescent, or sickle
shape. Sickle-shaped cells are not flexible and can
stick to vessel walls, causing a blockage that slows or stops the flow of blood.
When this
happens, oxygen cant reach nearby tissues.

Hemoglobin is found in red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout your body.
When
your diabetes is not controlled (meaning that your blood sugar is too high), sugar
builds
up in your blood and combines with your hemoglobin, becoming "glycated."

The most common cause of low hemoglobin is nutritional deficiencies of iron, folic
acid, and vitamins C and B12.

Hemoglobin je krvni pigment jer daje crvenu boju eritocitima crvenim krvnim
zrncima.
upravo hemoglobin.

Diseases of the red blood cells include many types of anemia, a condition in which
your
body can't produce enough normal red blood cells to carry sufficient oxygen
throughout the
body. People with anemia may have red blood cells that have an unusual shape or
that look
normal, larger than normal, or smaller than normal.

Hemoglobin is the protein inside red blood cells that carries oxygen. Red blood
cells also
remove carbon dioxide from your body, transporting it to the lungs for you to
exhale. Red blood cells are made inside your bones, in
the bone marrow. They typically live for about 120 days, and then they die.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Although aerobic training leads to increases in red blood cells, it can also lead
to their accelerated destruction. Erythrocytes live for
only about 70 days in endurance athletes, versus about 120 days in those who are
sedentary. Several mechanisms may
contribute to this, including increases in body temperature during exercise and
oxidative
stress. The main cause, however, appears to be trauma to the blood cells, most
often due
to the pounding of the feet in running. Specialized blood cells do not live very
long, so the body needs to replace them continuously.

Red Blood Cells (RBC) Erythrocytes are responsible to carries oxygen from the lungs
to the whole body cells. Bone marrow produced these red blood cells and our liver
destroys old red blood cells. Red Blood Cells (RBC) are based on iron and our body
needs
vitamin C to aid iron absorption

Acidulated malt (okiseljeni jemeni slad=moje pivo) , also known as Sauermalz or

Sour Malt, is a type of malted barley which contains a small proportion (usually 1-
2% by weight) of lactic acid .

Citric acid is one of the organic acids commonly used as chelating agents. Other
naturally occurring organic acids such as
malonic acid ( The calcium salt of malonic acid (chelating agent) occurs in high
concentrations in beetroot (cvekla) ) and gluconic acid ( malt starch, malt sugar )
also play an important role in plant mineral nutrition.

Gluconic acid also plays an important role in the manufacture of the bio-lemonade
"Bionade". Through the application of a
special process of fermentation, malt starch, malt sugar (dok sam koristio je slad

water is transformed into
gluconic acid instead of alcohol. This weak acid is an alternative to the more
common basic industrial ingredient of lemonade. The acid is neutral in taste and
enhances sweetness.
