There are times when the website doesn’t load properly probably due to an internet connection, but the meta description will show the description of the content making it the gatekeeper whether the user will continue to read the article or not. On the other hand, for images that are not displayed, alt text can tell what the image is all about. 4. Link out to authoritative websites. This will create an impression that your article is trustworthy. Users tend to look for credible sources especially if they will be using your website as a reference to their own. 5. Aim for more social signals. When you create an article, stimulate their interest to interact and encourage them to share your article. Social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter serve as a multiplier that will improve exposure of your article. 6. User-generated comments are favoured by Google because this means that your website has been read and it was good enough that the user replied. However, you need to monitor and regulate the comments of the users because some leave comments that are not related to the article. This would send a bad signal to search engines. 7. Design your website where related posts are seen. For continuing blog posts, users might want to go back to the previous post to understand the context of your article.
