Klasifikasi Tegangan
A. Sistem Tegangan Rendah
Sistem yang dioperasikan dengan rating tegangan 50 v 1 Kv ,dengan rating frekuensi
50 Hz/ 60 Hz untuk tegangan arus bolak balik. < = 1500 v untuk arus tegangan searah .
Dalam BKI Vol IV Section 1 General Requirements and Guidance berbunyi Are
systems operating with rated voltages of more than 50 V up to 1000 V inclusive and with
rated frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, or direct-current systems where the maximum
instantaneous value of the voltage under rated operating conditions does not exceed
1500 V
B. Sistem Tegangan Menengah
Sistem yang dioperasikan dengan rating 1 kv < un < 17,5 kv dengan rating frekuensi 50
Hz/ 60 hz untuk sistem tegangan arus bolak balik.
Dalam BKI Vol IV Section 1 General Requirements and Guidance berbunyi Are
systems operating with rated voltages of more than 1 kV and up to 17,5 kV inclusive
and with rated frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, or direct-current systems, with the
maximum instantaneous value of the voltage under rated operating conditions over 1500
V
C. Sistem Tegangan Pengaman (Safety Voltage)
Suatu tegangan arus AC kurang dari 50 v RMS atau suatu tegangan arus searah kurang
dari 120 v
Dalam BKI Vol IV Section 1 General Requirements and Guidance berbunyi Safety
voltage is a protection provision and consists of a circuit with rated voltage not
exceeding 50 V AC, operated unearthed and isolated safely from supply circuits
exceeding 50 V

2. Rugi Tegangan (Voltage Drop)

Drop tegangan maksimal yang dinijinkan sebesar 6%.
Dalam BKI Vol IV Section 12 Cable Network menyatakan Under normal service
conditions, the voltage drop between the busbars (main/emergency switch- board) and the
consumers shall not exceed 6 %, or 10 % in the case of battery-supplied networks of 50 V
or less
3. Penentuan Tahanan Isolasi
Besar tahanan istalasi listrik kapal yang diijinkan adalah sebesar 1 M
