b: Instructional Steps:
A. Turn over a card- Turn over a card and see what we will learn about today.

cards
C. Introduce the art standards-anchor chart, show example of letter v vase craft for vase and flowers. Teacher will
ask students questions throughout the lesson about their project based on their art standards.
D. Students will decide on their colors for the vase parts and the shapes for their flowers. Teacher will ask
questions throughout the lesson about their project for the art standards
E. After creating the craft, the students will write sentences for the letter v

Students will be allowed to choose their own design for the vase and flowers -there will be stencils to trace for
each part
