Unit Topic Unit 2: Addition & Subtraction Time Frame 8 weeks

Unit Overview

In this unit, students will build a foundation of addition and subtraction. First, students will work with
representation of addition. Students will decompose numbers to 10 in pairs and write equations. Next,
students will represent subtraction and solve subtraction word problems.
