Script 1:

Uwais Al Qarni

Narrator :
It has not been said to do good to Islam, other than they have not done good and are devoted
to their parents." Syaikhul Jihad Abdullah Azzam

In Yemen, stay a young man named Uwais Al Qarni who has a pulmonary illness. Because of
the disease the body became spotted. Despite being handicapped but he is a devout and
devoted young man to his mother, a paralyzed old woman. Uwais always cares and fulfills all
her mother's requests. Only one difficult request he still didnt fulfill.

His mother :
"My son, i cant live much more longer. Let me do the Haji before I die "

Narrator :
Hearing his mother's words, Uwais was pensive. The journey to Mecca is very far, past the
hot barren desert. People usually use camels and bring lots of supplies. So how does Uwais do
that which is very poor and does not have a vehicle?

Uwais :
how can I bring my mother to Mekah , since she was paralysed? Should I buy a calf? It was
impossible to go haji and ride a cow.

Narrator:
Uwais kept thinking to find a way out. Then, buy a calf, what about the calf? It is not possible
to go haji to ride a cow. Uwais made the cage at the top of the hill. Every morning he went
back and forth carrying the calf up and down the hill.

Villagers:
"Uwais crazy ... Uwais crazy .."

Narrator:
said people who saw Uwais's behavior. Yes, many people are freaking out what he's doing.

Uwais :
I cannot give up now, I have to increase my effort on carrying this cow so that i can carrying
my mother to Mekah, InsyaAllah Allah will give me a strength

Narrator :
He had never missed a day to carry the bulls up and down the hill. The calf is getting bigger,
and the bigger the energy needed Uwais. But because of daily exercise, the growing calf is no
longer feasible.

9
After 8 months passed, came the pilgrimage season. The Uwais Cow has reached 100
kilograms, as well as the Uwais muscles that are getting stronger. He became energetic for
lifting things.

Uwais :
Now im become more stronger then before, so that I can carrying my mother to Mekah.

His mother:
MasyaAllah how grateful me to have a son just like him. May Allah ease him. (smile)

Narrator:
Uwais holds his Mother's walk from Yemen to Makkah! Subhanallah, how great Uwais love
is to her mother. He was willing to travel far and hard, in order to fulfill his mother's wishes.
Uwais walked stoutly carrying his mother wukuf in Kaaba. His mother was touched and
tearing up to see the House. In front of the Kaaba, the mother and child prayed.

Uwais :
"O Allah, forgive all the sins of the mother,"

His mother:
"What about your sin?"

Uwais:
"With the forgiveness of the sin of the mother, then the mother will go to heaven. Suffice it
from the mother who will take me to heaven. "

Narrator :
That is the sincere and loving Uwais desire. God has given him the gift. Uwais instantly
recovered from her hair. Just left the white circle pushed. Do you know what wisdom of the
circle is left on the neck of Uwais? It is a sign for Umar bin Khaththab and Ali bin Abi Thalib,
two Companions of the Messenger to recognize Uwais.

"Allah has forbidden you to disobedient to the mother and to reject the duty, and to demand
that which is not his right, and to kill the child alive, and Allah, hates you with much talk, and
ask a lot, and also waste the wealth (scattering wealth)." Bukhari and Muslim
