BACKGROUND OF THE MARKET

Our business idea is about food delivering services in UNIMAS Kota Samarahan campus. Our
food delivering services is named Kilivery. Our main objective in providing this service is to make
meals convenient, affordable and accessible to all customers in UNIMAS campus. The business of
delivering meals to the home is undergoing rapid change as new online platforms race to capture
markets and customers across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia (including Malaysia).

The total number of students and staff in UNIMAS is 50,000. Kilivery Food Delivering Services is
available to all in UNIMAS. It operates 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm everyday. We operate
using motorcycle as we will deliver food to the customers to our pick up point at every Residential
College and Faculty in UNIMAS. Our service charge is RM 2 per person regardless of the
quantity of food the customers bought and the demographic in UNIMAS. Customers can order
food via phone call, Facebook or WhatsApp Kilivery Group. So, ordering food now is just at the
tip of our finger. It is very easy, convenient, accessible and save time.

Our motto is You Order, We Deliver. This motto pushes and motivates us to give the customers
our best service because customers always come first. This food delivery industry is booming not
only in other countries but also in Kuching, Sarawak. Kilivery has the potential of being a
profitable business if it is done efficiently and managed systematically.
