Differences between CAMO Section 2-3

The Qatar Civil Aviation Regulation (QCAR) 1003/2006 Annex-I Part-M Subpart-G set forth the
requirements to be complied with by an Approved Continuing Airworthiness Management
Organization (CAMO).
An Approved CAMO have the privileges (Section 1) to manage the continuing airworthiness
of the aircraft not involved in Commercial Air Transport as listed in the CAMO Approval
Certificate; and manage the continuing airworthiness of an aircraft involved in Commercial Air
Transport when listed in is Air Operator Certificate and on its CAMO Approval Certificate; and
may subcontract limited Continuing Airworthiness Tasks to another organization ,working
under its Quality System, as listed on the CAMO Approval Certificate; and extend the
Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) that was been issued by the Qatar Civil Aviation
Authority (QCAA) or another CAMO ,approved under QCAR Part-M Subpart-G when the aircraft
remains within a controlled environment.
The CAMO may additionally be approved to have privileges (Section 2) to carry out aircraft
Airworthiness Review; and issue the related ARC and extend it twice for a period of one year
each time, when the aircraft remains within a controlled environment under is management;
and issue recommendations for the Airworthiness Review to the Authority.
The CAMO may additionally be approved to have the privilege (Section 3) to issue a Permit
to fly, if the CAMO includes the privileges in Section 1 and 2 for the aircraft which the CAMO is
approved to issue the ARC, when the CAMO is attesting conformity with approved Flight
Condition and subject to an adequate procedure approved by QCAA detailed in the Continuing
Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
