EDITORS LETTER

This was the month when everything

went insane. South Africa, California, Florida,
Manchester and London. We had photo shoots,
saw mountain bikers, got blown away by skaters
and scared/impressed by MMA fighters.
Then we remembered it all had to actually go in
that magazine thingy we do in our spare time.
The normal stresses that come with putting the
magazine together started and everything was
moving along fine. Then the newsflash that some
madman had done something crazy and terrible
in London came on.
That put everyone in a pretty sad mood here
at Front and, Im sure, across the country. But
the way the media covered it took it to all new
levels of hysteria. The guy is a lunatic, but not an
invading army. You have to wonder what the suits
running the countrys press are up to sometimes.
Anyway, in true Front fashion, theres a story about
the refugee crisis right next to our Agony Aunt
talking about butt plugs this month.
Some of us are puking up or passed out on page
114. Some of us are playing old school extreme
sports video games on page 78. And some
of us are calling Katie Price a slag on page 80
something.
We hope you enjoy this edition of Front and,
of course, our thoughts are with the families
affected in late March.

Does she feel a level of responsibility?
In a way, she said. But not to the point
where Ive actually thought about it without
you saying it. I was inspired by women in
other action sports so I suppose if I can, in
some way, do that as well then thats good.
Its worth saying here that Adams was
modest in the extreme, and probably felt
more comfortable hurtling at speed than
talking about herself as a role model.
I do think its important though, she said.
But I have a lot more I want to do in the

She went on to talk about the fine balance
between having an equal ride for men and
women and understanding the differences.
If you wont hit a trail because youre
worried about being caught up, but you
are complaining about not being treated
as equally as the boys, then somethings
obviously wrong there.

OLD SKOOL
DIRT RALLY
Lets go a bit more modern. Codemasters
have done some experimenting with
their Dirt games, giving them a more
arcady vibe.
Their latest instalment: Dirt Rally, goes
back to the simulation gameplay roots of
the Colin McRae series.
Its not a game for everyone. It is
challenging, time-consuming and at times
frustrating (a lot like my girlfriend). Dont
let this put you off however. Dirt Rally
is a very good game. With its beautiful
graphics, sharp controls, satisfying
gameplay and painstaking attention to
detail, its a driving game thats better
than the (already high) sum of its parts
and will keep you coming back for more.
As already mentioned, the game is
difficult but if you stick at it, it will give
you a sense of accomplishment that only
a few games can manage to do this well.
Think Dark Souls, which also reminds me
of my girlfriend.

1080 SNOWBOARDING
For its time, this 19-year-old game was
quite a ground breaker. The resolution
may not be quite 1080p and the graphics
may appear poor, but in its day 1080
looked almost like digital photorealism.
Okay, thats pushing it a bit but you get
the gist.
Its a game thats easy to learn but hard
to master. It offered around 30 tricks
which if you think about it, is loads when
you have to remember 30 different
button combinations.
The authentic sense of sheer speed,
leaping through the air past the tree tops
and the feeling of achievement after
youve pulled off your favourite stunt will
always live long in our hearts.

WHEN YOURE NOT DRESSED UP

LIKE A SUPER VILLAIN WHAT ARE
YOU DOING?
Well later Im getting my hair done and
heading to boxing tonight.

BOXING? I DIDNT EXPECT YOU TO

SAY THAT.
Yea I absolutely love boxing. Im planning
on having a fight.

LIKE A CELEBRITY FIGHT?

No, away from all of the celebrity stuff.
Ive got so into it and just want to be the
absolute best, which is my attitude to
everything I do. So, yea, Im going to have
a fight but not as some publicity stunt.
Away from the ring, controversy seems
to follow you around. Whats the big
obsession with Jem Lucy?
I dont think people are obsessed exactly.
I think that its that people are intrigued
because they dont understand who I am.
They are trying to work me out, maybe.

YOU SEEM TO BE A BIT OF A

MENTOR/COUNSELOR ONLINE,
PARTICULARLY WITH ADVICE ON
TWITTER. A LOT OF PEOPLE SEE
YOU AS A ROLE MODEL NOW
BECAUSE OF IT. HOW DO YOU FEEL
ABOUT THAT?
If I can give advice it makes me feel good
because I know how hard shit can be.
Especially because loads of people give
me shit, and so if I can relay some advice
to others, then I want to do that.

FRONT MAGAZINE 87
SO YOU ARE A BIT OF A ROLE
MODEL THEN?
Well, Ive never, ever once said I should be
a role model. And I get slagged off a lot
with people saying that I am and should
do this or do that.
But Im still young and learning myself. Im
not 65 looking back and reflecting yet.
Im doing what I want and Im living and
learning. And I think thats what people
should do. Dont do what youre told,
go for what you want and learn from it
yourself.

SOMEONE YOURE DEFINITELY NOT

A ROLE MODEL TO IS CHARLOTTE
CROSBY, CAN YOU CLEAR UP THE
WHOLE DEAL WITH HER ONCE AND
FOR ALL ?
All I can say is she is a Cunt. And thats it.
Everything that happened between usis
because shes a cunt. I can be one but Im
not deep down. She is. End of.

RIGHT, NOW THATS OUT OF

THE WAY. YOUVE BEEN MAINLY
MODELING DURING YOUR CAREER,
IS THAT THE MAIN THING ON
YOUR HORIZON?
Well, apart from the boxing, Ive got a
dating app that focuses on people with
tattoos. Others can of course join as well,
but the main idea is to provide a platform
for people looking for love who have
tattoos.

WHATS IT CALLED?
Datingink. Oh, can I just mention my
boxing trainer Lyndon King Arthur.

I THINK YOU JUST DID! WHERE ARE

YOU TRAINING?
At the Collyhurst and Mosten Amateur
Boxing Club. Theres no pretty boys, no
girls with makeup on pretending to work
out. Its a proper gym and I love it.

BACK TO THE MODELING FOR A SEC.

DO HAVE ANY TIPS FOR YOUNG
GIRLS STARTING OUT?
When I got started there were so many
magazines, which are all gone now. So
its just so different now. God I sound old
saying that!
But its true. Social media is massive now,
so its probably easier to get spotted.
But it also means making a career out of
modeling is a lot harder. All the content is
free and there are just so many girls out
there sharing their pictures. And I feel for
them because its always going to be hard
to be the one who gets successful with so
many doing it now.

TATTOO! FIRST ONE AND WHY?
I got a weed leaf on my bum when I was
14. I suppose it was the Xmost rebellious
thing I could think of at the time. Plus we
used to smoke back then. I dont now, by
the way.

ANY ONES WITH A SIGNIFICANT

MEANING?
Yea, my Eminem tattoo on my arm
definitely means a lot. He was my
obsession and still is, as a person and a
rapper.
We love Eminem as well. Especially his
first album ! Any plans for a new one. A
tattoo, not a new Eminem album.
Well right now Im getting a full leg
sleeve. Its going to be made up of the
cities Ive been to, including the landmarks
and themes of those places. There will also
be a few other things inside it, like exotic
dancers because I used to be a dancer,
and other things I like.

ANY FAVOURITE ARTISTS?

Ken Patten in Newcastle and Tommi Crazy
in Manchester. Love them both.

ANY THINGS THAT YOU DONT LOVE?

Uhh, yea a few (Laughs). I really dont like
people being slow about things and not
doing what they say. And people moaning
about things they cant change.
Like someone sitting their eating
doughnuts and complaining about their
body. No thanks. No time for that.

GUILTY PLEASURE?
Justin Beiber. I love him.

IDEAL NIGHT IN?

Naked movie night.

IDEAL NIGHT OUT?

Me and Chantelle going everywhere.
Talking of Chantelle, so much
has been written and gone
back and forth about you and these
three people recently.
In two words, can you sum
them up?

CHANTELLE CONNELLY?
Loyal. Crazy.

KATIE PRICE?
Slag. Bigger slag.

Hi Eliza, welcome to Front Magazines
Extreme Edition. Whats the most
mental thing you have ever done?
Hi Front !
There is a spot in Aspen, Colorado, called
the Devils Punchbowl where I grew up. In
the summertime my friends and I would
all go over there and jump off these
mountain cliffs into an almost freezing
cold river. You have to jump about a 4-5
foot gap to even get to the spot that you
take the jump from. If you miss that gap,
youre hitting rocks down into the river
and youre done. Thinking back on that,
we were totally mental and we did it all
the time !

Can you tell us about your tattoos?

My Tattoos are a mixture of memories
and art pieces by friends or tattoo artists
that I appreciate. I seem to have collected
a lot of band tattoos. My side reads
Sex, Love and Rock n Roll, which is an
album by Social Distortion.
My leg says Survival Never Goes Out of
Style, thats a lyric by Jawbreaker. I have
a lot of rock/punk eclectic stuff. And then
theres just art and things that I like. I also
have the names of family and loved ones
tattooed on my right arm.

Most Meaningful bit of Ink?

I think the tattoo that means the most to
me has to be my little brothers name. I
have my mom and older brother too, but
hell always be my little baby bro, and
that makes me smile.

Any favourite artists?

Ive always been a huge fan of Nikko
Hurtados work. I absolutely love ONEQs
art work. He has an art nouveau meets
pinup geisha style that my jaw drops
over.

Whos your hero?

Dave Grohl.

Guilty Pleasure?
Reading magazines like Front and Maxim
and eating dark chocolate. I cant tell you
any others because theyre not all legal
haha.
