Mi trabajo

Adems de supervisar proyectos de construccin civil tambin tengo que verificar que durante
su construccin se protejan los recursos naturales o sean compensados en caso de que sufran
algn tipo de dao.

Hasta mitad del ao 2012, yo trabajaba como interventor en un proyecto de ingeniera civil,
que consista en el mejoramiento y pavimentacin de la carretera Vegach Remedios. Estaba
enfocado en hacer todas las obras bien, no le di mucha importancia si con las obras una fuente
de agua fuera contaminado o se cortara rboles, para m lo ms importante fue la
construccin.

A finales del ao 2012, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar como contratista en la Corporacin

ambiental CORANTIOQUIA, haba escuchado de esta corporacin, pero nunca pens que
pudiera trabajar en ella. Al principio fue muy duro porque el trabajo era diferente al que haca,
pero con el tiempo aprend muchas cosas.

En la corporacin tambin he supervisado proyectos de ingeniera civil pero tengo que

enfocarme ms en la proteccin de los recursos naturales como el agua y suelo, algo contrario
a lo que haca antes.

Trabajar con la corporacin ha cambiado mi forma de pensar como profesional, soy ms

consciente de todo lo que nos regala la naturaleza para vivir y del cuidado que merece aunque
muchas personas no lo valoran.

My job
Besides supervising projects of civil construction also I have to check that
during his construction the natural resources are protected or are compensated
in case they suffer some type of damage.
Up to half of the year 2012, I worked as inspector at a civil engineering project,
which was consisting of the "improvement and paving of the road Vegach -
Remedios". I was focused on doing all the works well, I did not give much
importance if with the works a source of water was polluted or trees were cut,
for me the most important was the construction.
At the end of the year 2012, I had the opportunity to be work as contractor at
the environmental Corporation CORANTIOQUIA but I never thought that I
could work with her.
Initially it was very hard for my because the work was different from everything
what I was doing but with the time I learned many things.
In the Corporation also I have supervised projects of civil engineering but I have
to focus more in the protection of the natural resources as the water and soil,
contradict something to what I was doing before.
To work with the corporation has changed my way of thinking as professional; I
am more conscious of everything what gives us the nature to live though many
persons do not appreciate it.
