(See Clause 2.1)

PROJECT FACILITIES

1 Project Facilities

The Contractor shall construct the Project Facilities in accordance with the
provisions of this Agreement. Such Project Facilities shall include:

(a) Toll plaza[s];

(b) Roadside furniture;

(c) Landscaping;

(d) Others

2 Description of Project Facilities

Each of the Project Facilities is described below:

a) Toll Plazas:Two Toll plazas proposed

Specifications and other requirements of the Toll plazas shall be strictly as per
Manual.

b) Road side Furniture shall be provided as follows: -

(i) Traffic Signs and Pavement Markings

Traffic signs and pavement markings shall include road side signs, overhead
signs, curve mounted signs and road marking along the project highway. The
locations for these provisions shall be finalised in consultation with
Authoritys Engineer and as per latest IRC Standard.
(ii) Metal beam crash barrier in a length of 4.5 km Separators &MS railings in a
length of 4.10 km shall be provided as per Schedule D and for safety of traffic
& users.
(iii)Traffic Safety Devices in consultation with Authoritys Engineer & Latest IRC
standards
(iv)Boundary Stones as per schedule D
(v) Hectometer / Kilometer Stones as per schedule D

shoulder road in the state of M.P. on EPC mode.

(vi)Traffic Blinker Signal (L.E.D) at intersections

c) Landscaping
Landscaping of the highway shall be done on, but not limited to, the following:
- Median
- Grade Separated intersections
- Toll Plaza Area
- Landscaping shall be provided in accordance with the Manual of Specifications
and Standards as referred in Schedule B and D. Contractor Shall be responsible for
implementation of Environment management Plan (EMP) on the project. The cost of
EMP shall be borne by Contractor.

d) Others
1. Highway Lighting
High Mast Lighting shall be provided at all the locations where service roads
are provided in built up area, at toll plaza.
2. Slope protection
The slope protection will be provided at locations where embankment height
is more than 3.00 m and in approaches of bridges as per Schedule-D.
3. Utilities
Utilities to be identified at site and certified by the Authority Engineer than
shifting may be taken up by the Concessionaire.
4. Utilities Crossing
Utility ducts in form of 600 mm dia. of NP-4 Pipe across the Project Highway
and along with inspection chamber at spacing of 1 Km shall be provided for
crossing of underground utilities in Built-up areas. Along the Bye-Passes,
Utility Duct of 600 mm dia. of NP-4 Pipe shall be provided at average spacing
of 500 m, across the Project Highway. Minimum distance shall be at least 250
m from the nearest culvert. Location shall be finalized in consultation with
Authoritys Engineer/MPRDC.
