Pree PAINTING #9753 URE — FloralBouquets il Learn How to Combine Flowers & Design Floral Arrangements to Fit Any Painting Surface ‘Panting a ‘Bouquet Painting a bouquet is similar to arranging flowers in a ‘omtainer like a florist. Many of the shapes, rules of thumb, and. techniques are taken from basic floral design; such as creating a focal point and the use of shapes such as triangles, rectangles, circles. A good thing to keep in mind is the way the flower naturally grows. For instance, gladiola or tulips look better in a long or vertical arrangement rather than in a round shape; ‘whereas roses can be used in any arrangement because they grow naturally on bushes, crees, and vines. Another ching that a florist will dois to strip the leaves off of the flower’ stem and replace them in the design with attractive ferns, or the deep green and sometimes fragrant leaves ftom a lemon tree. | follow thar same practice when I paint my bouquets.
