Experience
During this field experience I
was working with students in the
Fishback Center at South Dakota
State University. I worked with 3
Fishback Center
ECE 328 120 and 4 year olds and learned many
(3 and 4 lab)
different things such as themes
within the classroom and how to
connect different cultures in the
classroom.
During this field experience I
was in an 4th grade math
classroom with Mr. Stolt. I had
the opportunity to see 3 different
EDFN Camelot 4th math classes each time I observed

475/ESPY 302 grade in this classroom. Throughout this
experience I saw how each class
had different ways of seeing and
understanding how the material
was taught.
During this field experience I
was in a Kindergarten classroom
Sioux Valley with Mrs. Docter. I was there 4
ECE 488 240 Elementary- days a week and saw multiple
Kindergarten different subjects taught. This
was a classroom with 24 students
in it.
During this field experience I
was in a 4th grade classroom with
Mrs. Bezdicheck. I found this
Sioux Valley classroom very inviting and
ECE 395 35 Elementary- 4th learned many strategies to help
grade my students. I learned in this
classroom that a classroom
experience is more than just the
lessons and curriculum.
I am currently in Baltic
Baltic Elementary in a 4th grade
ELED 495 35 Elementary 4th classroom. My teacher is Mrs.
grade Oschner and I have been learning
many different ways to get my
students excited about
curriculum. This is a smaller
classroom with only 15 students.
